New American Champion!!!

Jed finished his American Championship on November 3, 2006!

Jed is everything we hoped for in our first litter and then some. He possesses a solid body and beautiful expression that makes scolding him near impossible. He is the perfect mixture of his mother and his father, carrying on Smoky's lighthearted disposition and Cassidy's fun-loving sense of adventure.

At six months old and two days, Jed made his first trip into the show ring with Mrs. Alisha Lawrence Harbin, of Windkist Kennels, on the end of the lead. Making heads turn, he won his class and took wonderful compliments from the judge. At six months and 3 days, Jed won his class again and then went on to take his first reserve under Mr. Falk. At six months and 5 days, Jed made heads turn again taking yet another reserve under Mrs. Smith. Jed is shown to the left at his debut show in Biloxi, MS with Mrs. Alisha Lawrence Harbin on the lead.

Jed is shown to the right winning his 12 to 18 brindle dog class at the 2005 ABC National Specialty under Judge Dixie McCauley, with Handler Tami Mishler on the lead. While in Ft. Mitchell, KY, Jed also took 2nd in his 15 to 18 brindle dog futurity class under Judge Robert Phillips. it was a very exciting trip for us and we couldn't be more proud of our 'Jed-Man.'

Immediately upon Jed's return from the ABC, he made his presence known in the ring taking his first point toward his AKC Championship under Judge Charles Trotter, winning WD, BW, and BOB in Gray, TN with Handler Kim Hall on the lead. The next weekend, Jed added another point to his credit going WD and BOS in Harriman, TN.

Jed took second in his 15 to 18 month old brindle dog futurity class under Judge Robert Phillips at the ABC National Specialty with Handler Tami Mishler. Jed also won his class of 18 at the ABC National Specialty under Judge Dixie McCauley with Handler, Tami Mishler on the lead.
